Wilkinson Sword An informative brand film created as a training tool to support the first official ‘manscaping’ qualification. Client: Wilkinson Sword Website: wilkinsonsword.com Services: End to end production Brief We were briefed to create a how-to style instructional film that would educate men on the best way to shave their chest. The client was keen for us to design a look & feel that was clean, modern and masculine. Strategy The video would be designed for Facebook so the usual considerations around consumption in a mobile feed applied; viewing is frequent, fast and usually sound-free. We would need our viewers to understand the steps while the audio is muted but gain even more with the sound on. While the footage would clearly show the steps (supported by a voiceover) we designed titles to clearly demonstrate the key processes and top tips – a more engaging choice than traditional subtitles.
