In the lead up to the two year anniversary of Nepal’s devastating 2015 earthquakes, a team of London’s finest chefs, restaurateurs and hospitality experts successfully completed a 6-day trek challenge through the Nepalese Himalayas, raising an incredible £116,000 for Action Against Hunger’s lifesaving work. The team, including chef and author Nieves Barragan-Mohacho, James Knappett, Head Chef at Kitchen Table and Bubbledogs, and Dan Doherty, Executive Chef at Duck & Waffle, climbed to altitudes of 2,800m and left all home comforts behind, camping for the duration of the trek, with no access to showers or toilets.
Bear Jam provided the production support for the film in the form of 1 man film crew armed with cameras, sound equipment and a drone. Upon their return the project was handed to our post-production team to create the final charity video.
